Smile necklace
Some days the stones really speak to me and this was one of those days.
These stones had rolled around my bench for weeks, waiting for inspiration. In the end it was the smiling centre piece (a lovely smooth white quartz stone with a golden smile) that cried out to be set. The top stone is another quartz piece with an uneven texture marked with deep green patterns while the bottom stone is jasper, the ruby stone from Ruby Bay. The balance of the three colours and shapes inspired the style of the setting, creating a real statement piece.
In real life people comment on this piece in my shop so much – it is a real eye catcher. Not for the faint of heart, this beautiful piece is waiting for it’s forever home.
